How care actually works here

Who provides care

Care is provided by licensed U.S. clinicians working within their scope of practice and their state licensure. They are responsible for the clinical decisions in your plan. SiriusRX the brand does not practise medicine, and nothing on this site is a clinical recommendation for you.

What a visit involves

A review of your goals, your history and any measurements that are relevant to what you are trying to change, followed by a conversation with a clinician. The point of the conversation is to work out what is actually going on, which is not always what the first symptom suggests.

You should expect to be asked about sleep, stress, alcohol, training, nutrition and any existing conditions and medications. Those are not box ticking. They change what a marker means.

When treatment is recommended, and when it is not

Only when a clinician judges it appropriate for you, after evaluating you. Often the recommendation is not medical at all, and a service that always recommends the same thing is not evaluating anybody.

How follow up works

Follow up is scheduled rather than optional, you can reach your care team between check ins, and plans are adjusted when your results or your circumstances change. Progress is not linear and a plan that cannot change is a plan that will stop fitting.

What we will not do

• Promise an outcome. Individual results vary, and anybody promising otherwise is guessing on your behalf.
• Recommend something because it is the thing we happen to offer.
• Make cancelling difficult, or route it through a retention call.

Coordinating with your existing care

If you have a primary care physician or a specialist, they remain your physician. Tell your SiriusRX clinician about existing conditions and medications so that care is coordinated rather than duplicated, and tell your other clinicians about any plan you start here.
